200 artists from around the country participate in this juried event that is consistently rated as one of the best outdoor art festivals in the country. This year, we are celebrating 35 years!

This Festival offers a live glass-blowing demonstration, a dance theatre performance (Saturday at 7:30 pm) and a concert daily: 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM . The “Reston Show” attracts patrons and knowledgeable collectors from the Washington, DC metropolitan region and beyond.

Garage parking at Reston Town Center is free during the Festival weekend.

Over the Mountain Studio Tour

The OTMST in Jefferson County, WV was established in 1989. A community of artists in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia invite guests into their studios one weekend a year to share, not only their work, but their life as artists.

The studio tour is always scheduled for the second weekend of November. The main event typically features over 20 artists across various local studios, showcasing painting, pottery, fiber arts, and metalwork. A summer preview show will be held July 10-12, 2026, at Eclectic Gallery (formerly Evolve) on German Street in Shepherdstown.
